Doing Research about college athletes and how the NCAA is not doing them justice has taught me a lot. But I actually wanted to go deeper in my research and actually went to go interview a couple of college athlete on my campus. The question I was asking them were, ” how does it feel for going to college for free.” Then what is it like trying to play football and going to college. Last how does it make you feel knowing the university is making all this money from you guys and you all only getting like 5 percent of it.
All of the football players had the same answer.” It feel good going to college for free, but sometime I think to myself is it really worth it.” Going. deeper into it, they know they are getting treated wrong but they have no choice but to accept it because their dream is to go to the NFL. Not only that if they try to argue it and go on strike, all the coach is going to do is replace them. So what choice do they really have. It make me feel like its just a different version of slavery all over again in just a smarter way.
